'Anaa' to compete with 'Romeo Weds Heer' and 'Jeeto Pakistan'



Hum Tv is all set to launch a new drama serial Anaa. Shehzad Sheikh and Hania Amir playing the leads in the serial. The Serial has been directed by Shehzad Kashmiri who also directed blockbuster drama serial "Yakeen Ka Safar". But the serial which looks promising, has to compete with Blockbuster Drama Serial "Romeo Weds Heer" and Super Hit Game Show "Jeeto Pakistan". Both of the shows air on Sundays and doing extremely well in terms of ratings. Recently Jeeto Pakistan beated Romeo Weds Heer. "Tajdeed-e-wafa" which used to be air on Sunday, is shifted to Wednesday Slot, replacing "Tawaan". Tajdeed-e-wafa was the lowest rated serial of Hum Tv and Tawaan also struggled with other serials. But replacing Tawaan could be positive for "Anaa" because Qaid is not doing great in numbers, so the serial might came to 2nd Slot because "Kaisa Hai Naseeban" is ruling the Tv these days. But to compete with two most popular and high rated shows would be difficult for "Anaa". Has Hum used wrong marketing strategy again? Will their strategy ruin one more good show like "Aangan"?
Anaa to start from 17th February on Hum TV.

Ehd-e-Wafa Ratings (All Episodes)

When Hum Tv was struggling in terms of ratings, it launched "Ehd-e-Wafa" and we can say that this series was the straw for drowning Hum TV. The series was quite popular and slot leader but still it failed to get the expected response. Ahmed Ali Akbar and Zara Noor Abbas received a lot of love and appreciation on their performance.
